More a work of art than simply a desk, the XDesk Air top surface is so amazingly thin that it appears to float on air. The world’s thinnest desk surface measures a remarkable ¼ inch. To maximize strength, the Air desktop surface is machined from a solid piece of recycled aluminum. We are often asked why aluminum was chosen.  Although more expensive than steel, no other material in the world compares to aluminum when it comes to strength, sustainability and visual beauty.  Starting with the most abundant metal in the earth's crust, recycled aluminum uses just 5% of the energy required to make new aluminum, with no change in quality. It has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, it is non-corrosive, and let’s face it, it looks awesome.  The brushed and anodized aluminum is available in natural anodized and black anodized.

For the first time in its history, Xdesk offers a completely enclosed adjustable desk.  Each model is made from heavy hot rolled steel and features approximately 70 hand welds, alluding to a time when furniture was built to last.  We leave our weld joints natural to show off the joinery and hand-crafted nature of the piece.

Xdesk Solo

The Xdesk Solo power adjustable height desk is the perfect solution for small spaces. Commonly found in compact offices, apartments or students' rooms, this power standing desk features a single electric height-adjustable column.  The small footprint of the Solo Plus makes it the perfect addition to any space-challenged room or office.

The unique design of the Solo Plus combines one free-standing, height adjustable column with a high-strength solid aluminum base.
